The Fastlane course is located along the scenic settings of the Grand Canal and around the newly surfaced perimeter of Grange Castle Business Park, offering a unique blend of urban and rural landscapes. The flat terrain and long straight lines make this race the perfect opportunity to assess your performance and refine your preparations for the Dublin City Marathon.

With a minimal elevation gain of just 27m over 10km, this course is as flat and fast as they come. It’s a challenging but achievable route that will push you to your limits and help you reach your full potential.

Wednesday 4th October – 10am – 5:45pm – Wheelwork Charlestown

Thursday 5th October – 10am – 5:45pm – Wheelworx Charlestown

Friday 6th October – 10am – 5:45pm – Wheelworx Fonthill

Saturday 7th October – 10am – 5:45pm – Wheelworx Fonthill

Race Day – 7:45am to 8:45am – Grand Canal, Clondalkin

 

Parking: Official parking is in The Mill shopping centre in Clondalkin Village (Dunnes Stores) and the Fonthill/Clondalkin Train Station Park & Ride.
The Mill Shopping Centre: Please park in the back car park only, on the left-hand side near the bottle banks, the rest of the car park is paid parking!  (See Map) DO NOT PARK INSIDE OR OBSTRUCT ACCESS GATES for deliveries. From back entrance we will have signs directing you to the start/finish area.

 

Bag Drop: Bag drop will be located beside the start/finish area. It will be open at 8am.  This area is not covered, so we recommend you bring a plastic bag to keep contents dry.

 

Toilets: Toilets will be located at the start and finish areas. Please make sure to use these before the event begins. Please do not go to the toilet in public spaces.  There are toilets on the route at the New Nangor Road water station.

 

Race Start & Waves: The race will begin at 9.00am sharp for all distances; three quarter, half marathon and 10km.
