The Fastlane Summer Edition takes runners on a scenic journey along Dublin’s Grand Canal, offering long, open stretches perfect for settling into your stride. The route starts beside the canal before bringing you out through Grange Castle Business Park, then loops back along the water for a smooth and enjoyable run.
The course is flat and fast, making it ideal for consistent pacing and confident running. It’s a 10K loop — with 10K runners completing one lap, half marathoners two, and ¾ marathon participants three. Fully measured, marshalled, and well-supported, it’s the perfect race to enjoy summer running at its best.

If you plan to walk the full distance, you’re unlikely to meet the cut-offs for the Half Marathon or 3/4 Marathon. If you’re unsure which event is right for you, the 10km is the best option for walkers.
